Benshaw RX3E Enclosed Combo Starters are built-to-order as severe duty rated, dual redundant soft starter for the most difficult and critical applications. They include a circuit breaker, full voltage rated emergency bypass contactor, door mounted Start/Stop pushbuttons, Local/Off/Remote selector switch and door mounted MX3 keypad.
RX3E combo starters are available in either a NEMA12 or NEMA3R enclosure. The full voltage rated bypass contactor doubles as a running duty bypass contactor when in soft starter mode. Benshaw’s MX3 control technology provides advanced motor protection with adjustable overload settings and available RTD monitoring, eliminating the need for a third-party motor protection relay. A real time clock with an event recorder (up to 99 events) is also included along with user adjustable motor ramp profiles that can be tailored to the motor load. The soft starter can be programmed using a provided remote mount LCD keypad or Modbus register mapping.
